SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of David A. Ryon of Peoria Heights, who
4passed away on April 1, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, David Ryon was born on August 12, 1959 in Peoria;
6his parents were William A. and Mary C. (nee Martin) Ryon; he
7married Marialice O'Neill on October 2, 1982; and
 
8    WHEREAS, David Ryon served as the director of buildings and
9grounds for Peoria District 150 for 29 years until his
10retirement in 2010; he also served as a project manager for
11Midwest Engineering and was also working with the Carver Center
12Board on the Center's restoration project; and
 
13    WHEREAS, David Ryon enjoyed spending time with his family,
14the outdoors, playing golf, watching the Chicago Bears, and
15using his mechanical abilities to help his family and friends
16find solutions to any project or problem; and
 
17    WHEREAS, David Ryon was preceded in death by his parents;
18and
 
19    WHEREAS, David Ryon is survived by his wife, Marialice; a
20son, Kyle Ryon; 2 daughters, Meghan (Timothy) Woelfel and Molly

1Ryon; a granddaughter, Leah Woelfel; 3 brothers, Timothy
2(Nancy) Ryon, Thomas (Mary Jo) Ryon, and Michael Ryon; and many
3nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
6family and friends, mourn the passing of David A. Ryon; and be
7it further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of David Ryon as an expression of our
10sympathy.
