SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Michael Christopher Bruno of Inverness, 
4who passed away on April 3, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Michael Bruno was born in Arlington Heights on 
6September 19, 1976; he earned
his Bachelor of Arts at Marquette 
7University and his master's degree at Roosevelt University; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Michael Bruno was a beloved teacher and
head 
9tennis coach at South Elgin High School; he had a profound

10impact on the many students whose experience he enriched; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Michael Bruno enjoyed golf, tennis,  trivia, 
12sports, and spending time with his family and friends; and
  
 
  
13    WHEREAS, Michael Bruno was the beloved son of Dr. Thomas 
14Bruno and Sharon (nee Kelly) Bruno; the loving brother of 
15Thomas, Jr.,
Anna (Thomas, Jr.) Bleers, Leah, his twin sister, 
16Caroline, Matthew (Autumn), and the late Maria Bruno;
the 
17devoted godfather and uncle of Mia; the adored uncle of 
18Madelyn, Luca, Charley, and Elena Bruno and Roman,
Leonardo, 
19and Dominic Bleers; the dear grandson of the late Albert and 
20Antoinette Bruno and Kenneth and
Katherine "Kay" Kelly; the 
21loved nephew and cousin of many; and the cherished friend to

1even more; therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
4Michael Christopher Bruno, and extend our sincere condolences 
5to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be 
6it further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to the family of Michael Bruno as an expression of 
9our deepest sympathy.
