|
| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Mark Neil, who passed away on March 23, |
| 4 | | 2015; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Mark Neil was a native of Chrisman; he began his |
| 6 | | career teaching at Catlin's junior high school and high school, |
| 7 | | before moving to Rossville Alvin's high school and elementary |
| 8 | | school as a guidance counselor; he then moved to the Danville |
| 9 | | School District in 1984, where he served for 29 years; he |
| 10 | | retired as Danville High School principal in June of 2013; in |
| 11 | | retirement, he stepped in to serve as the interim principal at |
| 12 | | Liberty Elementary in late 2013; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Mark Neil is survived by his wife, Julie; his |
| 14 | | daughter, Samantha and her 2 children; his daughter, Natalie; |
| 15 | | and his youngest children, Brianne and Ben; therefore, be it
|
| 16 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL |
| 17 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 18 | | Mark Neil, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, |
| 19 | | friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
|
| 20 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 21 | | presented to the family of Mark Neil as an expression of our |
