SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Henrietta Cecelia Nell; and
 
4    WHEREAS, Henrietta Nell was born in Johnsburg to Henry M.
5and Clara (nee Freund) Nell; and
 
6    WHEREAS, Henrietta Nell worked for Illinois Bell until
7moving to New Jersey, where she worked for AT&T until her
8retirement; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Henrietta Nell was a member of the Catholic Order
10of Foresters, St. Agatha's Court 777, the Telephone Pioneers of
11America, Soroptimist International-President (2 years) Essex
12County and President (2 years) Morris, New Jersey; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Affectionately known as "Spark", Henrietta Nell
14was an avid gardener, a talented knitter, and a creative
15hobbyist; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Henrietta Nell is survived by her sister, Ethel
17Nell; her sister-in-law, Elaine (the late Henry) Nell; her
18nieces, Cindy (Rick Sweeney) Oeffling, Jessie (Dennis) Smith,
19and Beth Staley; her great-nephews, Nick (Amy) Oeffling, Brad
20(April) Oeffling, Chris Smith, Dave Smith, and Matt (Becky

1Bland) Staley; and her 2 great-great-nephews, Braylen Oeffling
2and Grant Oeffling; therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
5Henrietta Cecelia Nell, and extend our sincere condolences to
6her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
7further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Henrietta Nell as an expression of
10our deepest sympathy.
