| 3 | | learn of the death of John "Jack" M. Hartnett, who passed away |
| 4 | | on December 7, 2014; and

| 5 | | WHEREAS, John Hartnett was born on January 19, 1940 in |
| 6 | | Chicago; his parents were Maurice and Mary (nee Quinlan) |
| 7 | | Hartnett; he married Mary Fox on March 17, 1963 in Chicago; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, John Hartnett retired from Consolidated |
| 9 | | Freightways after 34 years of service; he later worked for |
| 10 | | Smith Engineering for 10 years; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, John Hartnett was preceded in death by his |
| 12 | | parents; 3 sisters, Rose Ryan, Norita Hickey, and Patricia |
| 13 | | Collins; and a brother, Edward Hartnett; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, John Hartnett is survived by his wife, Mary; 3 |
| 15 | | children, Timothy (Maureen) Hartnett, Alison (Timothy) |
| 16 | | Anderson, and Jo Ellen (Brennan) Thornton; 4 grandchildren, |
| 17 | | Joshua Hartnett, Eric Hartnett, Wesley Gardner, and Megan |
| 18 | | Gardner; his granddogs, Wyatt, Josie, Archie, and Lulu; a |
| 19 | | sister, Kathleen "Peaches" (Mario) Ricciarelli; and his many |
| 20 | | nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, |
| 21 | | great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews; therefore, be it
