SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Harold "Hal" Wajrowski of Crystal Lake,
4who passed away on November 17, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Harold Wajrowski was born on February 2, 1930 in
6Chicago; his parents were Frank and Jennie (nee Paszek)
7Wajrowski; he married Shirley Rothermel on November 22, 1952 in
8Chicago; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Harold Wajrowski began his teaching career for
10School District 47 in 1953; he later served as principal of
11North Elementary School from 1967 until his retirement in 1991;
12and
 
13    WHEREAS, Harold Wajrowski enjoyed traveling with his wife
14and was an avid sports fan; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Harold Wajrowski was preceded in death by a
16daughter, Shari Bishop; a daughter-in-law, Julie Wajrowski;
17and a brother-in-law, Hank Schandag; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Harold Wajrowski is survived by his wife of almost
1962 years, Shirley; 4 children, David (Nancy), Pam (John)
20McMahon, Mark (Roberta), and Jim; his grandchildren, Jacob

1Bishop, Margaret (Andy) Skibley, Amanda (Joe) Stuber, Adam and
2Katherine Wajrowski, Amy Liggett, Sara (William) Maass, Tim
3McMahon, Nina, Luke, Lisa, and Joseph Wajrowski, and Brandon
4(Carissa) Duffin; 2 great-grandchildren, Conner Liggett and
5Ava Skibley; and 2 sisters, Ruth Schandag and Connie (Frank)
6Pixley; therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
9family and friends, mourn the passing of Harold "Hal"
10Wajrowski; and be it further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Harold Wajrowski as an expression of
13our sympathy.
