| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Marion I. Schreck of Harvard, who passed |
| 4 | | away on January 5, 2015; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Marion Schreck was born in Harvard on September 7, |
| 6 | | 1923 to Irving Joseph and Anna Mable (nee Wheelwright) Seaver; |
| 7 | | she married Warren R. Schreck in Woodstock on January 13, 1943; |
| 8 | | and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Marion Schreck was a seamstress by profession and |
| 10 | | enjoyed donating her time and talents to her church; she |
| 11 | | donated her hand-sewn dolls, knitted quilts, and hot pads; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Marion Schreck was a member of the First United |
| 13 | | Methodist Church in Harvard, the Memorial Committee of the |
| 14 | | First United Methodist Church, and a past member of the Harvard |
| 15 | | Women of the Moose; and
|
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Marion Schreck was preceded in death by her |
| 17 | | husband, Warren; her parents; her brother, Lyle; and her |
| 18 | | sisters-in-law, Della Schreck and Edna (James) Nithman; and
|
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Marion Schreck is survived by her 6 children, |
| 20 | | Dianne Marvin, Yvonne (Patrick) Browning, Karolyn (Douglas) |
