SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Marion I. Schreck of Harvard, who passed
4away on January 5, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Marion Schreck was born in Harvard on September 7,
61923 to Irving Joseph and Anna Mable (nee Wheelwright) Seaver;
7she married Warren R. Schreck in Woodstock on January 13, 1943;
8and
 
9    WHEREAS, Marion Schreck was a seamstress by profession and
10enjoyed donating her time and talents to her church; she
11donated her hand-sewn dolls, knitted quilts, and hot pads; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Marion Schreck was a member of the First United
13Methodist Church in Harvard, the Memorial Committee of the
14First United Methodist Church, and a past member of the Harvard
15Women of the Moose; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Marion Schreck was preceded in death by her
17husband, Warren; her parents; her brother, Lyle; and her
18sisters-in-law, Della Schreck and Edna (James) Nithman; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Marion Schreck is survived by her 6 children,
20Dianne Marvin, Yvonne (Patrick) Browning, Karolyn (Douglas)

1Childers, Edward Schreck, David (Tara) Schreck, and Kevin
2Schreck; her 13 grandchildren, Bradley (Donnanne) Marvin,
3Renee (Martin) Kamysz, Colleen (Thomas) Henning, Kenneth
4(Yolanda) Browning, Charles (Shelby) Schreiber, Beth Anne
5(Adam) Stack, Paul (Jenni) Mosier, Stephanie (Justin) Lutgen,
6Kathleen Megan Childers, Nicole Marie Childers, Tadj Kier
7(Nathanael Matthiesen) Schreck, Syrene Rachel (Scott) Khimani,
8and Sonja Anna Schreck; her 16 great-grandchildren; her brother
9and his wife, Fran and Joan Seaver; and numerous nieces and
10nephews; therefore, be it
 
11    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
12ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
13Marion I. Schreck, and extend our sincere condolences to her
14family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
15further
 
16    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
17presented to the family of Marion Schreck as an expression of
18our deepest sympathy.
