SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Lawrence James "Feez" Feezel, who passed 
4away on December 9, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Lawrence Feezel was born in Union on October 20, 
61942 to Floyd and Alice (nee Bogard) Feezel; he married Mary 
7Rita Daly on November 4, 1961; he was a lifelong resident of 
8McHenry County; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Lawrence Feezel was a past President of the 
10Woodstock Jaycees, a member of Laborers' Local 25, and founder 
11of the Minuteman Press of Crystal Lake; he was  an avid fan of 
12the White Sox, Bears, Bulls, Hawks, Huskies, Illini,  Cubs, and 
13Wolves; perhaps his greatest accomplishment in life was helping 
14to create the concrete outer skin of new Comisky Park; he was 
15also a popular Karaoke Singer; and
  
 
  
16    WHEREAS, Lawrence Feezel was preceded by his wife, Mary, 
17and his grandson, Ryan; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Lawrence Feezel is survived by his children, Gary, 
19Teri, Brian, Dan (Cheryl), and Sean; his sisters, Loretta 
20"Texas" Vela and Judy Hansen; his beloved grandchildren, Taylor 
21(Dan), Cailey, Jordyn, Cory, Devin, James, Elaine, Sammy,

1Madison, and Connor; and a multitude of nieces and nephews; 
2therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
5Lawrence James "Feez" Feezel, and extend our sincere 
6condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved 
7him; and be it further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to the family of Lawrence Feezel as an expression of 
10our deepest sympathy.
