SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Michael S. Hopp of Johnsburg, who passed 
4away on November 26, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Michael Hopp was born on May 22, 1969 in 
6Woodstock; his parents were Victor A., III and Constance (nee 
7Hanson) Hopp; he was a lifelong resident of Johnsburg; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Michael Hopp was a graduate of Johnsburg High 
9School; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Michael Hopp was employed as the manager of the 
11Citgo car wash on Illinois Route 120 in McHenry; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Michael Hopp was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears; 
13and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Michael Hopp was preceded in death by his parents; 
15and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Michael Hopp is survived by 3 sisters, Cindy 
17(Steve) Helpap, Linda Miller, and Mary (the late Larry) Harvey; 
183 brothers, Victor, IV (Linda) Hopp, Thomas (Valentine) Hopp, 
19and Christopher (Janine) Hopp; and many nieces and nephews;

1therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
4family and friends, mourn the passing of Michael S. Hopp; and 
5be it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Michael Hopp as an expression of our 
8sympathy.
