SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Alma C. Anderson of McHenry, who passed 
4away on December 29, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Alma Anderson  was born in Ringwood on January 1, 
61914 to Jacob F. and Susan (nee Meyer) Justen; she graduated 
7from McHenry High School and married Arnold Anderson on October 
86, 1937 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in McHenry; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Alma Anderson  worked for Woodstock Typewriter 
10Factory; after getting married, she stayed at home until her 
11last child went to college; later in life, she worked for Oak 
12Manufacturing in Crystal Lake; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Alma Anderson  enjoyed gardening, genealogy, and 
14traveling out West; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Alma Anderson  was preceded in death by her husband 
16of 62 years, Arnold; her parents; her brothers, Alex and 
17Donald; and her sister, Evelyn; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Alma Anderson  is survived by her 3 children, 
19Marcia, Ronald, and Gary; her grandchildren, Alessandro, Lara, 
20Melissa, Michael, Eric, Danielle, and Nicole; and her

1great-grandchildren, Mateo, Amelia, Massimo, Gabriella, Lily, 
2Sophia, Morgan, Alex, Simone, and Gaby; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
5Alma C. Anderson, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
6family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
7further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to the family of Alma Anderson as an expression of 
10our deepest sympathy.
