SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  William Dell Marden of Harvard, who 
4passed away on December 29, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, William Marden was born on July 24, 1943 in 
6Harvard; his parents were William C. and Eva A. (nee Anderson) 
7Marden; he married Carol Andrew on June 20, 1964 in Harvard; 
8and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, William Marden worked as a union plumber for many 
10years until his retirement; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, William Marden was a former member and past 
12president of the Harvard Sportsman's Club; he also enjoyed 
13woodworking, including intarsia, snowmobiling, hunting, 
14fishing, and spending time with his friends and family; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, William Marden was preceded in death by his 
16parents; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, William Marden is survived by his wife, Carol; his 
18children, Michael (Kim) Marden, Robert Marden, Gail (Ron) 
19Gibson, and Kevin (Mardee) Marden; 10 grandchildren; and 5 
20great-grandchildren; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
3family and friends, mourn the passing of William Dell Marden; 
4and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of William Marden as an expression of 
7our sympathy.
