SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Deanna K. Zellmann of Crystal Lake, who
4passed away on December 10, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Deanna Zellmann was born on September 12, 1939 in
6Upper Glade, West Virginia; her parents were Daniel and Glenna
7Miller; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Deanna Zellmann served on the District 47 School
9Board for 7 years and was a founding member of the District 47
10Parent-Teacher Association; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Deanna Zellmann was a proud member of the Red Hat
12Society and a founding member of the Sassy Sisters; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Deanna Zellmann enjoyed gardening and traveling,
14having visited Europe, Scandinavia, and Australia; she also
15enjoyed babysitting; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Deanna Zellmann was preceded in death by her
17parents; a brother, Robert (Margaret) Miller; and a son-in-law,
18Robert Floyd; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Deanna Zellmann is survived by her husband of 56

1years, Robert F. Zellmann, Sr.; her children, Bob (Karen)
2Zellmann, Andrea (late Robert) Floyd, Scott (Sheron) Zellmann,
3and Michael Zellmann; her grandchildren, Katharine, Thomas,
4Andrew, and Matthew Jackson and Sarah, Sydney, and Pema
5Zellmann; and a sister, Sandi (Ray) Kjar; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
8family and friends, mourn the passing of Deanna K. Zellmann;
9and be it further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Deanna Zellmann as an expression of
12our sympathy.
