SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Sandra "Sandi" L. Cooper, who passed away 
4on April 20, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Sandra Cooper was born on October 25, 1944 in 
6Jacksonville, Florida; her parents were Edward and Pauline (nee 
7Dossey) Clapp; she married Dennis Cooper on July 20, 1963 at 
8Cottage Hills Baptist Church; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Sandra Cooper and her husband were the owners and 
10operators of Geno's 140 Club in Bethalto; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Sandra Cooper was preceded in death by her 
12parents; and

  
 
13    WHEREAS, Sandra Cooper is survived by her husband, Dennis; 
142 sons and daughters-in-law, Cord and Kelly Cooper and Shane 
15and Stacy Cooper; 5 grandchildren, Meaghan (Chris) Kearbey and 
16Caitlyn, Jordan, Dylan, and Wyatt Cooper; 4 
17great-grandchildren, Landon, Logan, Clayton, and Machayla; and 
18several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her

1family and friends, mourn the passing of Sandra "Sandi" L. 
2Cooper; and be it further
  
 
3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
4presented to the family of Sandra Cooper as an expression of
