SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Thomas D. Cashin of Wonder Lake, who
4passed away on January 2, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Thomas Cashin was born on March 8, 1940 in
6Woodstock; his parents were Thomas Q. and Ruth (nee Tripp)
7Cashin; he married Joyce Gladden on March 11, 1960 at Nativity
8Lutheran Church in Wonder Lake; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Thomas Cashin was the owner and operator of Cashin
10Construction until his retirement in 2000; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Thomas Cashin enjoyed fishing trips to Minnesota,
12spending time with his friends at the Busy Bee, and spending
13time with his cocker spaniel, Little Girl; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Thomas Cashin was preceded in death by his
15parents; a daughter, Karen; and a son, Thomas Cashin, Jr.; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Thomas Cashin is survived by his wife, Joyce; 2
17sons, Richard Cashin and Greg (Jennifer) Cashin; 4
18grandchildren, Madelyn, Ricky, Allyson, and Kelsey; 2
19brothers, Charles (Trish) Cashin and James (Mary) Cashin; 2
20sisters, Carole (Cliff) Olsen and Betty Schlieben; and his many

1nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
4family and friends, mourn the passing of Thomas D. Cashin; and
5be it further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of Thomas Cashin as an expression of
8our sympathy.
