SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Robert J. "Bob" Corcoran of Elwood, who 
4passed away on April 16, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Bob Corcoran was born to John and Joanne Corcoran 
6and raised in Joliet; he graduated from St. Raymond's Catholic 
7Grade School, Joliet Catholic High School, and the University 
8of St. Francis; he married Kristina Facchina in 1997; and
  
 
  
9    WHEREAS, Bob Corcoran loved fishing and was an avid hunter, 
10a sport he enjoyed sharing with his sons; he enjoyed spending 
11time with his family and left them with numerous stories and 
12memories; he enjoyed his yearly fishing trips to Canada, family 
13vacations to Myrtle Beach and South Carolina, and attending his 
14sons' sports activities; he was a member of the Elwood 
15Sportsman Club for which he organized the annual children's 
16fishing derby; and
  
 
  
17    WHEREAS, Bob Corcoran is survived by his wife, Kristina; 
18his sons, Zachary and Gavin; his parents; his sister, Carol 
19(Andy) Gnehm; his brother and sister-in-law, Gina and Matt 
20Mantia; his nephews, Mitch Gnehm and Gage Mantia; his nieces, 
21Gillian Mantia and Sondra Gnehm; and his in-laws, Ken and Sue 
22Facchina; as well as many, many friends; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Robert J. "Bob" Corcoran, and extend our sincere condolences to 
4his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Bob Corcoran as an expression of our 
8deepest sympathy.
