SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Clayton Lee Hale of rural Roberts, who
4passed away on February 12, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Clayton Hale was born on August 26, 1988 in Gibson
6City; his parents were Larry and Diana Eppelheimer Hale; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Clayton Hale graduated from Paxton-Buckley-Loda
8High School in 2007; he was a member of the school's FFA
9chapter; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Clayton Hale began working for the True Value
11Hardware Store in Paxton during his senior year of high school;
12he continued to work there until 2013; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Clayton Hale was a member of the First United
14Methodist Church of Paxton; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Clayton Hale was fascinated by trains and enjoyed
16watching them as they went through town; he had a great
17enthusiasm for hunting and fishing; he also enjoyed classic
18cars and was a friend and fan of Tom Meents and his "Max-D";

1    WHEREAS, Clayton Hale was preceded in death by his
2grandfathers and a brother, Lucas Hale; and
 
3    WHEREAS, Clayton Hale is survived by his parents; 2
4brothers, Jade Tavenner and Corey (Dawn) Tavenner; his maternal
5grandmother, Mildred Eppelheimer; and his paternal
6grandmother, Lena Camp; and
 
7    WHEREAS, The City of Paxton will dedicate the walk bridge
8over the Canadian National Railroad tracks in Paxton in memory
9of Clayton Hale; therefore, be it
 
10    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
11ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
12family and friends, mourn the passing of Clayton Lee Hale; and
13be it further
 
14    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
15presented to the family of Clayton Hale as an expression of our
16sympathy.
