SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Ellis Usher, Jr. of North Chicago, who 
4passed away on February 2, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Ellis Usher, Jr. was self-employed at Usher Cores, 
6Inc. for many years; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Ellis Usher, Jr. was preceded in death by a 
8daughter, Cassandra Usher; his parents, Ellis and Mamie, Sr.; 
9his brothers, Edward, Jerry, and Larry; and his sisters, 
10Valerie Usher and Constance Gales; and

  
 
11    WHEREAS, Ellis Usher, Jr. is survived by his wife of 39 
12years, Shirley; 2 daughters, Ronique (Shawn) Cofield and 
13Yolanda Usher; a son, Ellis (Denise) Usher, III; 6 
14grandchildren, Cashmon, Jourvon, Jourdon, Ellis, DyZhir, and 
15ZaNiya; 5 brothers, Danny, William, Terry, Paul, and Teddy; 4 
16sisters, Ruby Bryant, Diane Lezine, Mildred (Christopher) 
17McKnight, and Susan (Mark) Dixon; his mother-in-law; 3 
18sisters-in-law; and a brother-in-law; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
21family and friends, mourn the passing of Ellis Usher, Jr.; and
