SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of David "Dave" Lamb of Elburn, who passed
4away on April 12, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Dave Lamb was born in Lakewood, Ohio on September
628, 1955 to Edward and Norma (nee Nordestgaard) Lamb; he
7graduated from Rocky River (Ohio) High School in 1973, where he
8was a star on the baseball diamond; he graduated cum laude from
9the University of Cincinnati; he married Cindy Austin in 1980;
10and
 
11    WHEREAS, Dave Lamb began working for the Morse Company in
12Ithaca, New York; he then moved to Aurora to work for
13SealMaster and saw many places throughout the country as he was
14transferred from location to location; he also worked as a home
15inspector and as a salesman for Jason Industrial in Carol
16Stream; and
 
17    WHEREAS, After the passing of his wife, Cindy, Dave Lamb
18married Terry Humphrey on October 25, 2004; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Dave Lamb enjoyed golfing, country music, Fox
20News, and driving his 1994 Corvette; and

1    WHEREAS, Dave Lamb was preceded in death by his parents;
2his former wife, Cindy Lamb; and his favorite 4-legged friend,
3a real big dog named Kiwi; and
 
4    WHEREAS, Dave Lamb is survived by his wife, Terry; his 6
5children, Bill (Mary Chris) Lamb, J.D. (Kari) Lamb, David
6(Deanne) Lamb, Kevin Lamb, Angela Humphrey, and Zack Lamb; his
72 furry children, a Cocker Spaniel named Buddy and a Sheltie
8named Mango; his 3 grandchildren, Ethan Lamb, Lindsey Lamb, and
9Madelyn Lamb; his 4 siblings, Karen (Tony) Ambrozic, Debbie
10(John) DeArmon, Jim Lamb, and Kris (Joe) Walsh; many nieces,
11nephews, cousins, and friends that span the entire country;
12therefore, be it
 
13    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
14ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
15David "Dave" Lamb, and extend our sincere condolences to his
16family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
17further
 
18    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
19presented to the family of Dave Lamb as an expression of our
20deepest sympathy.
