SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Darrin Scott Frederick of Crystal Lake,
4who passed away on March 15, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Darrin Frederick was born in Beaver Falls,
6Pennsylvania on February 24, 1969 to Cornelius "Neil" and
7Christine "Chris" (nee Hurbanek) Frederick; he married Robin
8Lynn Brokhof on October 7, 1995 in St. Charles; he graduated
9from Northern Illinois University, where he earned his degree
10in biology with a minor in chemistry; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Darrin Frederick worked as the Director of Food
12Safety at Centrella (Central Grocers, Inc.) in Joliet; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Darrin Frederick was a member of the McHenry Road
14Pirates; he enjoyed his son's baseball games, batting cages,
15ice fishing, camping, Boy Scouts, and shooting arrows and bb
16guns; he also enjoyed going to his daughter's soccer games,
17coaching and watching her basketball team, and fishing with
18her; he loved riding his Harley Davidson Road King, especially
19with his wife, Robin; he enjoyed the gun range, the Pittsburgh
20Steelers, monster truck rallies, home and camping shows,
21working in the outdoors, being at home with his family, and
22dining out as a family; and

1    WHEREAS, Darrin Frederick is survived by his wife, Robin;
2his children, Kiley Lynn and Blake Scott Frederick; his
3parents, Neil and Chris Frederick; his brother, Douglas
4(Pamela) Frederick; his mother-in-law, Esther Brokhof; his
5father-in-law, Robert Brokhof; his sisters-in-law, Lisa
6Brokhof, Denise (Curt) Sim, and Karla Christianson; his
7brothers-in-law, Chet (Simone) Brokhof and William Brokhof;
8and his nieces and nephew, Nadine, Garrett, Jillian, and
9Vitoria Brokhof; therefore, be it
 
10    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
11ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the death of
12Darrin Scott Frederick, and extend our sincere condolences to
13his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
14further
 
15    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
16presented to the family of Darrin Frederick as an expression of
17our deepest sympathy.
