| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Eleanor Lillian Mungle of Woodstock, who |
| 4 | | passed away on March 7, 2015; and

| 5 | | WHEREAS, Eleanor Mungle was born on August 15, 1924 in |
| 6 | | Woodstock; his parents were Matthew A. and Elsie H. (nee |
| 7 | | Siebel) Schmarje; she married Gerald N. Mungle on July 22, 1944 |
| 8 | | in Woodstock; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Eleanor Mungle was a lifelong member of St. John's |
| 10 | | Lutheran Church in Woodstock; she was also a member of the |
| 11 | | Woodstock Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Eleanor Mungle was preceded in death by her |
| 13 | | parents; her husband, Gerald; a son, Gerald Mungle; a |
| 14 | | great-granddaughter, Meghan; 5 brothers, Ed Schmarje, Don |
| 15 | | Schmarje, Ralph Schmarje, Les Schmarje, and Fred Schmarje; and |
| 16 | | a sister, Helen Corey; and
|
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Eleanor Mungle is survived by 3 sons, Edward |
| 18 | | Mungle, William Mungle, and Gary (Jill) Mungle; 3 daughters, |
| 19 | | Ruth Ann (Ken) Brodeski, Virginia (Frank Piska) Radloff, and |
| 20 | | Mary (Paul) Kleven; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; |
| 21 | | a great-great-grandchild; a sister, Pauline Young; and many |
