SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Dorothy J. "Puddy" Killoran, who passed
4away on March 25, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Dorothy Killoran was born in North Chicago on
6October 1, 1926 to John and Elizabeth Coyle; she graduated from
7Holy Family Grade School and Waukegan High School; she married
8Jim Killoran on September 6, 1947 at Holy Family Church in
9North Chicago; and
 
10    WHEREAS, After graduation, Dorothy Killoran worked at the
11telephone company, Deep Freeze, the Hubert Company, and the
12Waukegan Roofing Company until her retirement; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Dorothy Killoran enjoyed dancing, her family and
14friends, and time spent on Fox Lake; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Dorothy Killoran was preceded in death by her
16husband, Jim; her parents; her brothers, James, Michael, and
17John; and her sisters, Ann Mary Milewski, Barbara Stranowicz,
18and Rita Larson; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Dorothy Killoran is survived by her son, Jim
20(Barbara) Killoran; her sisters, Judy Caldwell and Betty Davis;

1her sister-in-law, Mary Gallahue; her grandchildren, Jill
2(Frank) Giunta and Brian (Tracey) Killoran; and her
3great-grandchildren Nick, Emma, Abbie, Ellen, and Julia;
4therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Dorothy J. "Puddy" Killoran, and extend our sincere condolences
8to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be
9it further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Dorothy Killoran as an expression of
12our deepest sympathy.
