SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Jack F. "Boomer" Whitlow of Pleasant
4Prairie, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 25, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Jack Whitlow was born on November 22, 1944; his
6parents Floyd Whitlow and Eleanor Doretti; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Jack Whitlow was a graduate of Waukegan High
8School; he subsequently attended Marquette University; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Jack Whitlow was employed at Cornerstone Realty,
10the Fred W. Losch Beverage Company, and Prudential Insurance;
11and
 
12    WHEREAS, Jack Whitlow was an avid sports fan and loved
13played softball and golf; he also won an MVP softball award and
14was a part of many championship softball teams; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Jack Whitlow was preceded in death by his parents;
16and
 
17    WHEREAS, Jack Whitlow is survived by 3 children, Blake
18(Carmin), Casey (Alsena), and Toby (Janae Strumberger); 7
19grandchildren, Brett, Taylor, Jordan, Shelbie, Breyen,

1Samantha, and Trevor; a brother, Phillip (Myra); a sister,
2Karen (Joe) O'Brien; and his lifetime friends, Jim Conn and
3Ellen Bosman; therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
6family and friends, mourn the passing of Jack F. "Boomer"
7Whitlow; and be it further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Jack Whitlow as an expression of our
10sympathy.
