| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Terrance Paul "Terry" Brendle of McHenry, |
| 4 | | who passed away on March 28, 2015; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Terry Brendle was born in Woodstock on May 8, 1953 |
| 6 | | to Paul Carl and Ethel L. (nee Hachmeister) Brendle; he |
| 7 | | graduated from McHenry High School in 1971 and studied law |
| 8 | | enforcement at McHenry County College; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Terry Brendle was employed as a corrections |
| 10 | | officer for 26 years by the McHenry County Sheriff's Office; he |
| 11 | | also worked part-time at the McHenry Ace Hardware store; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Terry Brendle was a collector of antiques and an |
| 13 | | avid Model A Ford enthusiast; he was a member of the |
| 14 | | Chain-O-Lakes Chapter of the Model A Club of America, where he |
| 15 | | also served as the chapter's president; he also enjoyed |
| 16 | | gardening, entertaining, cooking, and hosting dinner parties; |
| 17 | | he taught himself to play the organ and loved playing for |
| 18 | | family and friends; and
|
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Terry Brendle was preceded in death by his |
| 20 | | parents, and his niece, Sheila Lamberg; and
