SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Terrance Paul "Terry" Brendle of McHenry,
4who passed away on March 28, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Terry Brendle was born in Woodstock on May 8, 1953
6to Paul Carl and Ethel L. (nee Hachmeister) Brendle; he
7graduated from McHenry High School in 1971 and studied law
8enforcement at McHenry County College; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Terry Brendle was employed as a corrections
10officer for 26 years by the McHenry County Sheriff's Office; he
11also worked part-time at the McHenry Ace Hardware store; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Terry Brendle was a collector of antiques and an
13avid Model A Ford enthusiast; he was a member of the
14Chain-O-Lakes Chapter of the Model A Club of America, where he
15also served as the chapter's president; he also enjoyed
16gardening, entertaining, cooking, and hosting dinner parties;
17he taught himself to play the organ and loved playing for
18family and friends; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Terry Brendle was preceded in death by his
20parents, and his niece, Sheila Lamberg; and

1    WHEREAS, Terry Brendle is survived by his 2 sisters, Debra
2Manson and Karen (Roy) Lamberg; his brother, Steven Brendle;
3his niece, Michelle Ann; and his 2 nephews, Jason and Chad;
4therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Terrance Paul "Terry" Brendle, and extend our sincere
8condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved
9him; and be it further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Terry Brendle as an expression of
12our deepest sympathy.
