SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Crystalyn "Chris" Wilcox of Marengo, who 
4passed away on April 10, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Crystalyn Wilcox was born on March 30, 1923 in 
6Marengo and was a lifelong resident; her parents were George 
7and Emma (nee Rahn) Hauschildt; she married Allan Wilcox on 
8June 6, 1944; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Crystalyn Wilcox was a bookkeeper at Vincent 
10Beauty Supply for 25 years and the McHenry County Township 
11Clerk for over 20 years; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Crystalyn Wilcox was active in both the American 
13Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliaries; she was also a 
14member of Zion Lutheran Church; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Crystalyn Wilcox enjoyed playing the piano and 
16spending time with her family and friends; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Crystalyn Wilcox was preceded in death by her 
18husband, Allan, and 2 brothers, George and David Hauschildt; 
19and

1    WHEREAS, Crystalyn Wilcox is survived by 2 sons, John 
2(Therese) Wilcox and Paul Wilcox; 4 grandchildren, Brittany 
3(Joseph) Competello, Angela (Chad) Swanson, Katy (Taylor) 
4Wieczorek, and Michele (Brad Boyer) Wilcox; 2 
5great-grandchildren, Gavin and Olivia Swanson; and many loving 
6extended family members; therefore, be it
  
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
9family and friends, mourn the passing of Crystalyn "Chris" 
10Wilcox; and be it further
  
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
12presented to the family of Crystalyn Wilcox as an expression of 
13our sympathy.
