SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Alton Emery Ellegood of Fox River Grove, 
4who passed away on April 6, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Alton Ellegood was born on May 23, 1919 in 
6Kentucky; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Alton Ellegood served his country as a member of 
8the United States Navy; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Alton Ellegood enjoyed cigars and driving 
10wherever he could go with his 4-legged companion, Millie, by 
11his side; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Alton Ellegood was preceded in death by his loving 
13wife, Carol Marie, and a son, Jeffrey Allen Ellegood; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Alton Ellegood is survived by a daughter, Betty Jo 
15(Don) Hoebbel; 3 grandchildren, Jeffrey (Alisa) Ellegood, 
16Brett (Jenna) Hagen, and Kristen (Aaron) Roberts; and 5 
17great-grandchildren, Jacob, Austin and Riley Ellegood and 
18Connor and Lainey Hagen; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
2family and friends, mourn the passing of Alton Emery Ellegood; 
3and be it further

5presented to the family of Alton Ellegood as an expression of 
6our sympathy.
