SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Jane Anne Fish of Woodstock, who passed
4away on March 11, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Jane Fish was born on October 5, 1926 to Walter
6and Alice Robinson; she married Donald A. Fish in 1946; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Jane Fish was a factory worker, representing the
8women of America during World War II as a "Rosie the Riveter";
9she also spent several years at Automatic Liquid Packaging Inc
10in Woodstock; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Jane Fish and her husband made Alden their home
12for more than 40 years, before moving to Woodstock in 2002; she
13enjoyed Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, Solitaire, and spending
14time with family; she loved telling stories and laughing with
15her family, including her 18-year-old cat, Sylvester; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Jane Fish was proceeded in death by her parents;
17her husband of 67 years, Donald; her son, Alan Fish; her
18grandson, Brian Garza; her brothers, Walter, Guy, Phil, and
19Louis Robinson; and her sisters, Betty Coss, Shirley Deaton,
20Alice Whiting, and Mary Collins; and

1    WHEREAS, Jane Fish is survived by her sisters, Judy Walters
2and Marge Redding; her children, Raymond (Joan) Fish, Jane
3Fish, Donna Howell, and Barb (Oscar) Garza; her 8
4grandchildren, Jeff Fish, Jamie Fish, Christina (Bryan)
5Huerta, Brandy Howell, Nicole Howell, William Howell, Randy
6Garza, and Joe Garza; and her 16 great-grandchildren;
7therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
10Jane Anne Fish, and extend our sincere condolences her family,
11friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Jane Fish as an expression of our
14deepest sympathy.
