SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Isabelle Schuyler-Sue Jones, who passed 
4away on December 11, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Isabelle Jones was born on August 24, 2004; she 
6was a resident of Oak Park and attended Abraham Lincoln 
7Elementary School; she also attended the Panda Dance Studio, 
8where she was a member of the competitive dance team; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Isabelle Jones was a member of the Girl Scouts and 
10the 5th grade Service Team and was a Book Buddy to a Lincoln 
11Kindergarten student; she also participated in CAST for 3 years 
12and Girls on the Run; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Isabelle Jones was awarded the Oak Park Optimist 
14Club Award and was recognized during Youth Appreciation Day on 
15November 18, 2014; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Isabelle Jones was a member of First Baptist 
17Church of Oak Park, where she attended Sunday school and had 
18the lead role of Mary in the church's Christmas program in 
192013; she loved animals and one day hoped to work with them; 
20she also enjoyed dancing, singing, and spending time with her 
21family and friends; and

1    WHEREAS, Isabelle Jones was the loving daughter of Kevin 
2and Christine Jones and the granddaughter of James and Cindy 
3Jones; therefore, be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
6Isabelle Jones, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
7family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
8further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to the family of Isabelle Jones as an expression of 
11our deepest sympathy.
