| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Paul Penn, who passed away on May 7, |
| 4 | | 2015; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Paul Penn was very passionate about and believed |
| 6 | | that all young people should have the opportunity to a quality |
| 7 | | education; to that end, he was involved with the Great Plains |
| 8 | | Life Foundation, which assists in providing college or trade |
| 9 | | school scholarships for economically disadvantaged children; |
| 10 | | and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Paul Penn will be mourned and fondly remembered by |
| 12 | | his family, his friends, and the many people whose lives he |
| 13 | | touched; therefore, be it
|
| 14 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL |
| 15 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his |
| 16 | | family and friends, mourn the passing of Paul Penn; and be it |
| 17 | | further

| 18 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 19 | | presented to the family of Paul Penn as an expression of our |
| 20 | | sympathy.
