SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Pauline V. "Sue" Mahoney, who passed away 
4on April 25, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Pauline Mahoney was born on March 29, 1935; her 
6parents were Dr. Camillo and Virginia Volini; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Pauline Mahoney and her husband were pillars of 
8their community; she was also a founding member of St. Mary of 
9Vernon Catholic Church; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Pauline Mahoney was preceded in death by her 
11husband, Edward Mahoney, Sr.; a brother, Camillo (Dorothy) 
12Volini; and 2 sisters, Virginia Volini and Patricia (James) 
13Mahoney; and

  
 
14    WHEREAS, Pauline Mahoney is survived by a brother, Dr. 
15Dominick (Pat) Volini; 3 sons, Michael, Dr. Edward, Jr. (Sue), 
16and Dominick (Susan); and 6 grandchildren, Cory, Kyra, 
17Nicholas, Ryan, Zachary, and Melissa; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
20family and friends, mourn the passing of Pauline V. "Sue"
