| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Janette Weatherall, who passed away on |
| 4 | | May 11, 2015; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Janette Weatherall was born in St. Louis, Missouri |
| 6 | | on April 19, 1954 to Jim and Doris
Weatherall; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, In 1989, Janette Weatherall relocated to
|
| 8 | | Springfield to pursue an employment opportunity with
AFSCME |
| 9 | | Local 2000; in 1993, her career as a lobbyist began with the |
| 10 | | Illinois Education Association, where she served 20 years |
| 11 | | before
retiring in 2013; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Janette Weatherall was very passionate about |
| 13 | | serving in her
church (Cathedral of Praise), health, education, |
| 14 | | and spending time
with her family; and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Janette Weatherall was preceded in death by her
|
| 16 | | parents; her brother; and her sister; and
|
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Janette Weatherall is survived by her daughter, |
| 18 | | Fatina (Juan)
Conway; her 5 sisters, Annie (Eddie) Jumper, Mary |
| 19 | | Helen Walker,
Minnie McLemore, Christine (Arthur) Francis, and |
| 20 | | Myra (Mark) Hunter;
her brother, Sylvester (Aletha) |
