SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Danny Dale Manning of Decatur, who passed
4away on May 8, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Danny Manning was born in Decatur on July 9, 1949
6to Arthur Wayne and Maxine (nee Edwards) Manning; he married
7Sally Jo Nelson on September 30, 1972; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Danny Manning was affiliated with the Argenta
9United Methodist Church; he was President of the Painters Local
10Union 288, an Executive Board Member for the International
11Union of Painters and Allied Trades Painters District Council
1258, a Delegate to the Building & Construction Trades Council,
13and Sergeant-at-Arms for the Decatur Trades & Labor Assembly;
14and
 
15    WHEREAS, Danny Manning enjoyed playing cards and watching
16sports on TV; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Danny Manning was preceded in death by his
18parents; his brother, Larry "Ike" Manning; and his
19brother-in-law, Max Krutsinger; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Danny Manning is survived by his wife of 42 years,

1Sally Jo; his daughters, Brittney Danelle (Tony) Delgado and
2Breean Danette Manning; his 3 grandchildren, Trinity Delgado,
3Dominic Delgado, and Brylee Mears; his siblings, Shirley
4(Richard) Wallace, Suz Krutsinger, Robert D. (Peggy) Manning,
5and David "Squeak" (Diana) Manning; his special nieces,
6nephews, and good friends; his wingman, Bill "Crackers"
7(Shannon) Francisco; and his good friend, Tim "Skaggs" Nugent;
8therefore, be it
 
9    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
10ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
11Danny Dale Manning, and extend our sincere condolences to his
12family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
13further
 
14    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
15presented to the family of Danny Manning as an expression of
16our deepest sympathy.
