SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Kenneth "Alan" Risley, III of Harvard, 
4who passed away on May 9, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Kenneth Risley, III was born on May 15, 2002 in 
6Washington, Indiana; his parents were Amy Groat and Kenneth 
7Alan Risley, Jr.; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Kenneth Risley, III was in the 7th grade Life 
9Skills program at Creekside Middle School in Woodstock; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Kenneth Risley, III enjoyed swimming, camping, 
11riding his bike, and music; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Kenneth Risley, III was preceded in death by his 
13great-grandfathers, Virgil Groat and Harry Bussie; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Kenneth Risley, III is survived by his parents; 
15his great-grandmothers, Judith Groat and Lois Bussie; his 
16grandparents, Rodd and Kathleen Groat; his aunts and uncles, 
17Lisa and Phil Birkhead, Emily and Joe Young, and Beth and Chris 
18Scherer; and his cousins, Wyatt, Cheyenne, Sullivan, Abigail, 
19Mindy, and Benjamin; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
3family and friends, mourn the passing of Kenneth "Alan" Risley, 
4III; and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Kenneth Risley, III as an expression 
7of our sympathy.
