SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of James August Glosson, who passed away on 
4May 11, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, James Glosson  was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on 
6December 16, 1930 to Clara and Joseph; at the age of 16, he 
7joined the United States Army, serving overseas; he married 
8Dolores in 1958; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, James Glosson  was a carpenter by trade; he settled 
10in McHenry, working in construction; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, James Glosson  kept active by working part-time at 
12a local bank and gardening; he enjoyed the theater and dining 
13out with his wife; and
  
 
  
14    WHEREAS, James Glosson  fathered 3 boys, Jim (Sarah), David, 
15and Shawn (Barbara); he was the loving grandfather of Erin, 
16David, Kelli, Christopher, Jimmy, and India Rose; therefore, be 
17it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
20James August Glosson, and extend our sincere condolences to his

1family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
