SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Kay F. Zigrossi, who passed away on May 
411, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Kay Zigrossi  was born to Arthur and Dorothy (nee 
6Doubleday) Hoffmann; she graduated from Joliet Township High 
7School (JTHS) in 1951; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Kay Zigrossi  was a  homemaker for most of her life; 
9she also worked at JTHS Central as a part-time secretary; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Kay Zigrossi  will be missed by her friends from 
11the JTHS Central retired secretaries lunch group, her Harrah's 
12acquaintances, and her fellow polka enthusiasts from Sunday 
13nights at the Croatian Cultural Club; she was an avid Chicago 
14Cubs, Bulls, and Blackhawks fan; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Kay Zigrossi  was preceded in death by her parents; 
16and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Kay Zigrossi  is survived by her devoted husband of 
1863 years, Nick; her 4 children, Michael (Sandra Spivey) 
19Zigrossi, Susan (Ronald) Orsini, Timothy Zigrossi, and 
20Terrence (Ann Jeriha) Zigrossi; her  sister, Judy (nee Hoffmann)

1Ferguson; and numerous loving grandchildren, 
2great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
5Kay F. Zigrossi, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
6family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
7further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable cop of this resolution be 
9presented to the family of Kay Zigrossi as an expression of our 
10deepest sympathy.
