SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Philip Ambrose Doran, Jr., who passed 
4away on April 6, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Philip Doran, Jr. was born on November 7, 1966; 
6his parents were Philip and Mary I. (nee Scanlon) Doran; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Philip Doran, Jr. was a graduate of Christ the 
8King School, St. Ignatius College Prep, and Saint Xavier 
9University; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Philip Doran, Jr. was an exceptional student at 
11St. Ignatius; he was at the top of his class academically and 
12was beloved by his classmates; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Philip Doran, Jr. was a dedicated employee of the 
14Cook County Assessor's Office for 19 years; and

  
 
15    WHEREAS, Philip Doran, Jr. was the loving brother of John 
16(Jennifer) Doran, Ned Doran, Margaret (Jeff) Pezza, and 
17Elizabeth (Patrick) Sheedy; the loving uncle of Margaux, 
18Mairead, and Jameson Doran, Luke, Andrew, David, Mary Irene, 
19and Margaret Pezza, and Charlotte Anne Sheedy; and the dear 
20nephew and cousin to the Brown, Eiben, Peters, and Scanlan

1families; he was embraced and supported with loving arms by the 
2Christ the King Community, Misericordia, all of his loving 
3family, and his many devoted friends; therefore, be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
6family and friends, mourn the passing of Philip Ambrose Doran, 
7Jr.; and be it further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to the family of Philip Doran, Jr. as an expression 
10of our sympathy.
