SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Estelle T. Klapperich of Johnsburg, who
4passed away on May 17, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Estelle Klapperich was born in Johnsburg on
6November 21, 1929 to William and Susan (nee Schmitt) Hiller;
7and
 
8    WHEREAS, Estelle Klapperich was known by those who came
9through her door as the "Local Seamstress"; there was always
10time for a visit and a chat and she was never too busy to help
11out her family, her friends, and those in need; she truly
12enjoyed the friends and acquaintances she made through her
13talents and many years of service to the community; she also
14enjoyed canning, baking, and gardening; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Estelle Klapperich was a life-long parishioner of
16St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, where she devoted
17her time and many talents throughout the years; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Estelle Klapperich was preceded in death by her
19husband of 51 years, Wilfred J. "Willie" Klapperich, and her
20brother, Norbert Hiller; and

1    WHEREAS, Estelle Klapperich is survived by her 3 sons,
2Keith (Janet), Everett (Deborah), and Loren (Susan); her
3daughter, Elizabeth; her grandchildren, Stephanie (Jon) Betts,
4Everett Klapperich, Jr., James Klapperich, and Matthew
5(Leatha) Klapperich; her great-grandchildren, Grace, Claire,
6and Henry Betts; and her 3 siblings, Msgr. Everett Hiller,
7Bernice Freund, and Mildred Durben; therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
10Estelle T. Klapperich, and extend our sincere condolences to
11her family, her friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be
12it further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the family of Estelle Klapperich as an expression
15of our deepest sympathy.
