SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Edward Lyle Howell of Woodstock, who 
4passed away on May 27, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Edward Howell was born in Woodstock on January 28, 
61946 to Ancel and Edith (nee Whitehead) Howell; he attended 
7Woodstock schools and served in the United States  Army from 
81966 to 1968, including a tour of duty in Vietnam; and
  
 
  
9    WHEREAS, Edward Howell was a member of the Moose Lodge in 
10Woodstock; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Edward Howell was preceded in death by his 
12parents; his brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Rita Howell; 
13and a great-niece, Brandi Howell; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Edward Howell is survived by his siblings, Marcia 
15Holtz, Les (Gay) Howell, and Ken (Kathy) Howell; his nieces and 
16nephews, Cyndi Pitner, Karen Herman, Scott Howell, Lisa 
17Sanders, Jennifer Howell, Cheryl Lee, Todd Howell, Kristin 
18Heiman, Jay Holtz, Andrew Howell, Michelle Howell, and Sherri 
19Howell; and many great-nieces and great-nephews; therefore, be

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Edward Lyle Howell, and extend our sincere condolences to his 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Edward Howell as an expression of 
8our deepest sympathy.
