SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Leon F. Busch of Richmond, who passed
4away on May 27, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Leon Busch was born in Burlington, Wisconsin on
6November 23, 1929 to Bernard and Frances (Robers) Busch; he was
7a graduate of Richmond High School and scored the first
8touchdown in school history; he married Patricia Stilling on
9May 30, 1956 at St. Joseph Church in Richmond; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Leon Busch worked as a carpenter for Tonyan
11Construction and Charles Heelein Co. for over 45 years; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Leon Busch was a member of St. Joseph Catholic
13Church in Richmond; he loved bird watching, fishing, hunting,
14lawn care, and outdoor activities; he also enjoyed Native
15American history; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Leon Busch was preceded in death by his parents;
17his sister, Delores Walker; and his 3 brothers, James,
18Theodore, and John J. Busch; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Leon Busch Leon is survived by his wife of 59
20years, Patricia; his 4 daughters, Susan (Kenneth) Fanter,

1Valerie Busch-Zurlant, Marie (Daniel) Sutton, and Charlene
2(John) Bedrosian; his 3 sons, Joseph (Caroline) Busch, Nicholas
3(Lisa) Busch, and Jerome Busch; and his 3 sisters, Evelyn
4Elfmann, Patricia Miller, and Jeanette Vierke; therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Leon F. Busch, and extend our sincere condolences to his
8family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
9further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Leon Busch as an expression of our
12deepest sympathy.
