SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Janet A. Dudley of Shelbyville, who 
4passed away on June 11, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Janet Dudley was born on June 22, 1930 in 
6Broughton; her parents were Elza Ray and Minnie Irene 
7Richardson Gaines; she married Joe Davis Dudley on August 15, 
81948 in Morganfield, Kentucky; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Janet Dudley owned and operated the Marrowbone Inn 
10Restaurant in Bethany; she also worked at the McDonald's in 
11Sullivan and the Sullivan Packing Plant; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Janet Dudley was a member of the Dalton City 
13United Methodist Church; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Janet Dudley was preceded in death by her parents; 
15her husband, Joe; a daughter, Debbie Jo Dudley; a grandson, 
16Timothy Lee Dudley; 2 brothers; and a cousin, Patty Toney; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Janet Dudley is survived by 4 children, Tim 
18(Susan) Dudley, Todd (Billie) Dudley, Julie Jones, and Jennifer 
19(Miles) Clark; 6 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren;

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
3family and friends, mourn the passing of Janet A. Dudley; and 
4be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Janet Dudley as an expression of our 
7sympathy.
