SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Dorothy Cvik; and
 
4    WHEREAS, Dorothy Cvik was born in Waukegan on February 5,
51939 to Helen Pharo and Ted Kopier; she graduated from North
6Chicago High School in 1957 and, the following year, married
7Roger Cvik; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Dorothy Cvik was a beautician by trade; she also
9owned and operated Golf-A-Rama mini-golf with her husband for
1024 years; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Dorothy Cvik enjoyed antiquing and thrifting and
12casinos; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Dorothy Cvik was preceded in death by her parents;
14her brother, Marvin; her brothers-in-law, Leo, Skip, and
15George; and her nephew, Bud; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Dorothy Cvik is survived by her husband of 59
17years, Roger; her 3 children, Jeff (Laura) Cvik, Jill (Ron)
18Pfeiffer, and Julie (Ron) Johnson; her 6 grandchildren, Karley
19and Keith Leable, Derek and Kyle Johnson, and Victoria and Ryan
20Cvik; her 2 sisters, Lorraine Koncan and Barbra Rumpza; and her

1brother-in-law, Robert Cvik; therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Dorothy Cvik, and extend our sincere condolences to her family,
5friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of Dorothy Cvik as an expression of our
8deepest sympathy.
