SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Jerry Wayne Grubbs of Gurnee, who passed 
4away on June 9, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Jerry Grubbs was born on May 24, 1954 in Harlan 
6County, Kentucky and was a lifelong resident of the Waukegan 
7area; his parents were Arnold and Wilma Grubbs; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Jerry Grubbs worked for 23 years at Siemens 
9(formally Kemper Insurance); and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Jerry Grubbs enjoyed golfing, bowling, and his 
111967 Chevelle; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Jerry Grubbs was preceded in death by his parents; 
13a sister, Louise Hacker; 3 brothers, Roscoe, David, and Larry 
14Grubbs; and a brother-in-law, Don Schlegel; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Jerry Grubbs is survived by his wife of 12 years, 
16Diana (nee Cuellar) Grubbs; a son, Sean Grubbs; 2 sisters, 
17Eunice Schlegel and Opal (Steve) Werenski; a brother, Ron 
18(Wendy) Grubbs; his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and 
19great-nephews; and the loving Cuellar Family; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
3family and friends, mourn the passing of Jerry Wayne Grubbs; 
4and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Jerry Grubbs as an expression of our 
7sympathy.
