2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
3 | | learn of the death of Alice M. Hutchison of Harvard, who passed |
4 | | away on June 14, 2015; and
|
5 | | WHEREAS, Alice Hutchison was born in Chicago on December 5, |
6 | | 1940 to Harold and Gertrude (Carey) Altman; she married Jerome |
7 | | F. Hutchison on December 17, 1976 in Park Ridge; and
|
8 | | WHEREAS, Alice Hutchison worked as an Administrative |
9 | | Assistant for Zenith Corporation and as a Function Coordinator |
10 | | for the Hyatt Hotel in Rosemont; and
|
11 | | WHEREAS, Alice Hutchison was a member of St. Joseph |
12 | | Catholic Church of Harvard, prior to becoming a spiritual |
13 | | member of the Magnificat prayer group at The Church of Holy |
14 | | Apostles, where she was referred to as "Scripture Lady"; she |
15 | | loved all wild life animals; she enjoyed the companionship of |
16 | | her cats, was an avid reader, and enjoyed the company of family |
17 | | and friends; and

18 | | WHEREAS, Alice Hutchison was preceded in death by her |
19 | | parents; her first husband, Arnold Keane; and her sister, Joan |
20 | | Altman; and
|

1 | | WHEREAS, Alice Hutchison is survived by her husband of 38 |
2 | | years, Jerome; her 5 children, Robert (Jennifer) Keane, Joan |
3 | | (Greg) Tastad, Lori (Kurt Steigerwald) Logan, Thomas (Barbara) |
4 | | Hutchison, and Timothy (Lucy) Hutchison; her 15 grandchildren, |
5 | | Jaclyn, James, Jason, Keith, Kelsie, Joshua, Scarlet, Justin, |
6 | | Robby, Bryana, Jordan, Elizabeth, Skylor, Brandon, and Joseph; |
7 | | her 6 great-grandchildren, Aiden, Maggie, Declan, Olivia, |
8 | | James, Jr., and Jackson; her sister, Marilyn (the late Rudy) |
9 | | Seebacker; and her brother, Richard Altman; therefore, be it

10 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL |
11 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
12 | | Alice M. Hutchison, and extend our sincere condolences to her |
13 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it |
14 | | further

15 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
16 | | presented to the family of Alice Hutchison as an expression of |
