SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Alice M. Hutchison of Harvard, who passed
4away on June 14, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Alice Hutchison was born in Chicago on December 5,
61940 to Harold and Gertrude (Carey) Altman; she married Jerome
7F. Hutchison on December 17, 1976 in Park Ridge; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Alice Hutchison worked as an Administrative
9Assistant for Zenith Corporation and as a Function Coordinator
10for the Hyatt Hotel in Rosemont; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Alice Hutchison was a member of St. Joseph
12Catholic Church of Harvard, prior to becoming a spiritual
13member of the Magnificat prayer group at The Church of Holy
14Apostles, where she was referred to as "Scripture Lady"; she
15loved all wild life animals; she enjoyed the companionship of
16her cats, was an avid reader, and enjoyed the company of family
17and friends; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Alice Hutchison was preceded in death by her
19parents; her first husband, Arnold Keane; and her sister, Joan
20Altman; and

1    WHEREAS, Alice Hutchison is survived by her husband of 38
2years, Jerome; her 5 children, Robert (Jennifer) Keane, Joan
3(Greg) Tastad, Lori (Kurt Steigerwald) Logan, Thomas (Barbara)
4Hutchison, and Timothy (Lucy) Hutchison; her 15 grandchildren,
5Jaclyn, James, Jason, Keith, Kelsie, Joshua, Scarlet, Justin,
6Robby, Bryana, Jordan, Elizabeth, Skylor, Brandon, and Joseph;
7her 6 great-grandchildren, Aiden, Maggie, Declan, Olivia,
8James, Jr., and Jackson; her sister, Marilyn (the late Rudy)
9Seebacker; and her brother, Richard Altman; therefore, be it
 
10    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
11ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
12Alice M. Hutchison, and extend our sincere condolences to her
13family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
14further
 
15    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
16presented to the family of Alice Hutchison as an expression of
17our deepest sympathy.
