SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Marylyn Jane Wilson of Rock Island, who
4passed away on June 28, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Marylyn Wilson was born in Rock Island on July 19,
61921 to Simon and Florence Sass Baird; she married Harry L.
7Wilson on September 12, 1944 in Cleveland, Ohio; she served in
8the United States Navy during World War II and was discharged
9as a Yeoman First Class in 1945; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Marylyn Wilson worked as a court reporter and
11owned and operated S & W Reporting in Rock Island for many
12years; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Marylyn Wilson was a member of St. Mary's Catholic
14Church in Rock Island and a charter member of the Mill Creek
15Country Club in Milan, now the Pinnacle Country Club; she
16enjoyed playing golf and bridge and had been a member of 13
17different bridge groups at one time; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Marylyn Wilson was preceded in death by her
19parents; her husband, Harry; her sister, Florence "Maxine"
20Dahlberg; and her brothers, Richard and Clifford Baird; and

1    WHEREAS, Marylyn Wilson is survived by her children, Sheila
2Wilson, Thomas H. (Vickie) Wilson, and Paula (Craig) Tigerman;
3her grandchildren, Amy (Lance) Stockwell, Richard Albertson,
4Chelli (Mark) Esser, and Justin Tigerman (fiancée, Kathleen
5Borchers); her step-grandchildren, Jennifer Garrett (Pierre),
6Kyle Boultinghouse, Lindsey (Reggie) Zorg, Christopher
7(Christie) Gibrich, and Bethany (Justin) Kump; her 4
8great-grandchildren; her 8 step-great-grandchildren; and
9several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
10    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
11ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
12Marylyn Jane Wilson, and extend our sincere condolences to her
13family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
14further
 
15    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
16presented to the family of Marylyn Wilson as an expression of
17our deepest sympathy.
