SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Tania Lynn Toler, who passed away on June
48, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Tania Toler was born in Chicago on September 29,
61957; she was raised by her mother, Theodora "Toi", her father,
7Frederick Toler, and her step-father, Billy Binion; she
8attended Bren Mawr Elementary School and graduated from South
9Shore High School; she graduated from Chicago State University
10in 1984 with a degree in special education; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Tania Toler worked in a number of positions for
12Habilitative Systems, Inc., eventually joining the ARCH
13Program, where she spent 14 years; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Tania Toler had a passion for Christmas and
15single-handedly created many Christmas family traditions; she
16was very creative and artistic, creating numerous ceramic
17pieces, performing with dance groups, and displaying her
18artwork at local fairs; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Tania Toler was preceded in death by her father,
20Frederick Toler; her brother, Rodney Toler; and her
21grandmother, Beth Lillian Walker Anderson; and

1    WHEREAS, Tania Toler is survived by her son, Terry Toler
2(Stephanie); her grandson, Xavier Toler; her sister, Janeene
3Toler Greene; her uncles, Herbert Anderson and Bruce Anderson;
4her aunts, Myra Williams, Beverly Millison (Robert), and Lisa
5Anderson; her nephews, Keith and Brandon; her step-father,
6Billy Binion; and many other family members and friends;
7therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
10Tania Lynn Toler, and extend our sincere condolences to her
11family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
12further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the family of Tania Toler as an expression of our
15deepest sympathy.
