SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Charles H. Johnson of Harvard, who passed
4away on June 19, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Charles Johnson was born in Harvard on July 20,
61939 to Clarence and Lucille (nee Cepek) Johnson; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Charles Johnson was a self-employed carpenter and
8contractor; he was a member of the Carpenters Local #2087 in
9Crystal Lake; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Charles Johnson was a volunteer for the State Fish
11Hatchery in Spring Grove for many years; he enjoyed hunting and
12fishing and was well known for smoking meats; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Charles Johnson was preceded in death by his
14parents; his 2 sisters, Lucille and Dorothy; and his 3
15brothers, David, Ralph, and Ronald; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Charles Johnson is survived by his daughter,
17Kathryn (Bryan) Hegemann; his 2 sons, Randall C. Johnson and
18Paul D. (Karen) Johnson; his 9 grandchildren, Travis (fiancee
19Lisa), Netanya (Michael) Montana, Joshua, Jaclyn, Zac,
20Kaitlyn, Alex, Grace, and Dave; his sister, Rosemary Johnson;

1and his loving companion, Marilyn Livermore; therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Charles H. Johnson, and extend our sincere condolences to his
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
6further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Charles Johnson as an expression of
9our deepest sympathy.
