SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Norman A. Collins of Harvard, who passed
4away on July 2, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Norman Collins co-founded Conlon Collins Ford in
6Crystal Lake in 1957 and owned it through 1990; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Norman Collins enjoyed playing poker; since 1988,
8he and his wife maintained dual residencies in Harvard and
9Encinitas, California; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Norman Collins was preceded in death by his
11daughter-in-law, Patricia; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Norman Collins is survived by his wife of 67
13years, Norma; his son, Arthur (Catherine); his daughter,
14Kimberly Kline (James); his 3 grandchildren, Maggi Blumberg
15(Tony), Mallory Taylor (Garrett), and Tessa Kline; his 3
16great-grandchildren, Anthony, Rowan, and Zane; his 2
17sisters-in-law; his brother-in-law; and several first and
18second generation nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

1Norman A. Collins, and extend our sincere condolences to his
2family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
3further
 
4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
5presented to the family of Norman Collins as an expression of
