SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Robert Charles Howald of Bunker Hill, who 
4passed away on July 14, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Robert Howald was born on June 29, 1942 in Bunker 
6Hill; his parents were to Charles S. Howald and Helen L. (nee 
7Whitfield) Howald; he married Carol J. (nee LaVoie) Howald on 
8June 3, 1971 in Las Vegas, Nevada; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Robert Howald was a commercial airline pilot for 
10many years; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Robert Howald was a member of the American Legion 
12Post of Bunker Hill and the Masonic Lodge of Bunker Hill; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Robert Howald was preceded in death by his parents 
14and a sister, Bertha Mae Benham; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Robert Howald is survived by his wife, Carol J. 
16Howald; 2 daughters, Gena Howald and Tena Howald-Webb; a son, 
17Dax (Jinger) Howald; 4 grandchildren, Olivia, Lucy, Landon, and 
18Lenox; a brother, Sherwood Howald; and a sister, Betty Zarges;

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
3family and friends, mourn the passing of Robert Charles Howald; 
4and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Robert Howald as an expression of 
7our sympathy.
