SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Robert "Bob" Moss of Pittsfield, who
4passed away on July 19, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Robert Moss was born on March 17, 1963 in Fort
6Leonard Wood, Missouri; his parents were Charles William and
7Mary Marie Wintjen Moss; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Robert Moss was a 1981 graduate of Griggsville
9High School; after high school, he worked for various farmers
10in the area; he later worked for Callender Construction and at
11Illinois Valley Paving for 14 years; he also worked at Ameren
12CIPS and the Illinois Rural Electric Cooperative; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Robert Moss was a member of the American Quarter
14Horse Association, Ducks Unlimited, IUOE Local #965,
15Pittsfield Moose Lodge #420, the Old Orchard Country Club, and
16a local pool league; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Robert Moss enjoyed working and playing with
18horses, hunting, fishing, trapping, gardening, boating, the
19St. Louis Cardinals, cooking, and spending time with his
20family, friends, and his dogs, Dutch and Tex; and

1    WHEREAS, Robert Moss was preceded in death by his father
2and his grandparents, James and Bonnie Wintjen and Floyd and
3Teresa Moss; and
 
4    WHEREAS, Robert Moss is survived by his wife, Angela Hayden
5Moss, 2 sons, Tucker Moss and Tanner Moss; his mother; 2
6brothers, Floyd Moss and Stan (Jill) Moss; a sister, Mary Lynn
7Moss; his extended family members, Jerry Heavner and his family
8and Jason Heavner and his family; and many aunts, uncles,
9nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it
 
10    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
11ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
12family and friends, mourn the passing of Robert "Bob" Moss; and
13be it further
 
14    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
15presented to the family of Robert Moss as an expression of our
16sympathy.
