SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Robert "Bob" Moss of Pittsfield, who passed away on July 19, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Robert Moss was born on March 17, 1963 in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri; his parents were Charles William and Mary Marie Wintjen Moss; and

WHEREAS, Robert Moss was a 1981 graduate of Griggsville High School; after high school, he worked for various farmers in the area; he later worked for Callender Construction and at Illinois Valley Paving for 14 years; he also worked at Ameren CIPS and the Illinois Rural Electric Cooperative; and

WHEREAS, Robert Moss was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association, Ducks Unlimited, IUOE Local #965, Pittsfield Moose Lodge #420, the Old Orchard Country Club, and a local pool league; and

WHEREAS, Robert Moss enjoyed working and playing with horses, hunting, fishing, trapping, gardening, boating, the St. Louis Cardinals, cooking, and spending time with his family, friends, and his dogs, Dutch and Tex; and

WHEREAS, Robert Moss was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents, James and Bonnie Wintjen and Floyd and Teresa Moss; and

WHEREAS, Robert Moss is survived by his wife, Angela Hayden Moss, 2 sons, Tucker Moss and Tanner Moss; his mother; 2 brothers, Floyd Moss and Stan (Jill) Moss; a sister, Mary Lynn Moss; his extended family members, Jerry Heavner and his family and Jason Heavner and his family; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Robert "Bob" Moss; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Robert Moss as an expression of our sympathy.
