SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Guy F. "Red"  Brownson, who passed away on 
4June 8, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Guy Brownson served in the United States Army; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Guy Brownson was an active member of the National 
7Association of Letter Carriers; and
  
 
  
8    WHEREAS, Guy Brownson was a member of the Veterans of 
9Foreign Wars and the National Rifle Association; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Guy Brownson was a longtime Downers Grove Township 
11Democrat and former Democratic Party of DuPage County 
12Sergeant-at-Arms; he was a committed and active Democrat for 
13decades and made significant contributions; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Guy Brownson is survived by his wife, Beth; his 
15children, Cindy, Jason, and Rachel; and his grandchildren; 
16therefore, be it
  
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
18ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
19Guy F. "Red" Brownson, and extend our sincere condolences to
