| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Milton "Milt" Honel, who passed away on |
| 4 | | June 8, 2015; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Milt Honel was born in Chicago; he received his |
| 6 | | master's and doctorate degrees in education from Loyola |
| 7 | | University and Northern Illinois University; he served in the |
| 8 | | United States Army and married Rosalie Walsh on June 20, 1953; |
| 9 | | and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Milt Honel worked as a principal at various |
| 11 | | elementary schools; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Milt Honel was a prominent member of the |
| 13 | | Democratic family and was a precinct committeeman for many |
| 14 | | years; therefore, be it
|
| 15 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL |
| 16 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 17 | | Milton "Milt" Honel, and extend our sincere condolences to his |
| 18 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
| 19 | | further
